In 1977, Krishnamurti met in Ojai, California with trustees of the Krishnamurti Foundations from Europe, India, and North America. Over a one month period he talked extensively with them about the work they were doing, about the schools they looked after, and about the need to have centres where adults could visit to withdraw for a time from their usual activities and concerns and study the significance of their lives. But the background of this inquiry was his intense interest in the "flowering", as he called it, of the trustees themselves. As Mary Cadogan, one of those present, says in her Introduction, "Several of us who had been listening to, and working with, Krishnamurti for many years felt that these dialogues were truly revelatory and life-changing". You ask for a review but if K was alive today or if he was around would he have approved of all this reviews and ratings...I really doubt it keeping in mind that I have read about JK since a long time now and continue to do so...so in short I am not qualified to give any review.

Amazon review

Here's my Amazon review posted yesterday:

While Amazon indicates they will print this book on demand it is currently readily available through the Krishnamurti Foundation of America. Printed in India it is a wonderful advanced series of dialogues Krishnamurti held with mostly trustees of his foundations worldwide, in 1977. The intention was to preserve his "teachings" after his death (in 1986), beyond the books, videos, tapes and tangible record of his 60 plus years of going around the world, as "the world teacher."
As with much of what K said in his talks, much is probably lost in putting his words into writing, as there was a "perfume," or aura about K that transcended the spoken word, coming out of absolute silence, or so it seemed. Thus, some of the early dialogues can be somewhat infuriating but by the end of the series you can feel the group becoming "as one," especially when the theoretical physicist, David Bohm would probe K further, drawing out some of their more recent dialogue insights.
Highly recommended if you have an interest in an exploration into truth.
